State-Funded Program
VPK is funded by the State of Florida for eligible 4-year-olds. Families pay no tuition for the core VPK hours — just quality early education for your child.
Eligibility & Timing
Children must turn 4 by September 1st to be eligible. Applications typically open in February for the following school year.
Kindergarten Readiness
Our VPK curriculum focuses on letter recognition, phonics, early math, and social skills that prepare children to thrive in kindergarten.
Need care beyond VPK hours?
VPK runs Monday through Friday, 9am–12pm. Arlington offers extended day care before and after VPK so your child can stay in the same familiar environment all day.
